TCC Valve 4T40E Oversize Fits '03-earlier units with .354" dia. OE TCC control valve. Symptoms: Engine stall at idle Loss of fuel economy Overheated converter TCC apply & release concerns Cause: TCC control bore wear allows critical pressure loss that causes TCC apply and release concerns. Correction: Recover hydraulic control and renew TCC operation by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax TCC control valve sleeve. NOTE: Tool kit F-33000-TL, required for installation of this part, is no longer in production. WARNING: This part only fits '03-earlier units with a .354" dia. OE TCC control valve. Measure OE valve spool diameter as shown here to confirm application. Do NOT install this part if the OE valve measures .412".
