Modulator Valve oversize A4LD Valve Adjustment Screw The continuous oscillation of the modulator valve wears the case bore, allowing oil circuit leakage. Line pressure and modulated TV pressure can cross leak or go to exhaust, resulting in uncontrollable shift timing, delayed egagements, harsh or slide shifts, poor line rise, and/or no TV control. Sonnax offers an oversized modulator valve kit 56833-01K that restores thehydraulic integrity of the circuits. Reamer kit 56833-TL must be used to accommodate the oversized valve. Valve is manufactured from hard-coat anodized aluminum to prevent wear. A longer modulator adjustment screw is included to properly preload the modulator spring and compensate for the oversized valve. Required tool: 56833-TL NOTE: A modulator with an adjustment screw must be used with this oversized valve.
