TCC reg.valve 5R55E,4R44E Standard OE size Valve may be used with original OE casting. Valve may also be used with Sonnax 37947-09K sleeve kit. Valve has been hard-coat anodized to prevent scratching on the critical spools. Symptoms: Code 628, 1741 TCC apply concerns Cause: Debris and constant oscillation of the converter clutch regulator valve can create scratches on the critical valve spools. Correction: Sonnax offers a direct replacement TCC regulator valve, which may be used either in the original casting bore or in conjunction with the Sonnax 37947-09K sleeve when the bore cannot be salvaged with an OE-diameter valve.
