VFS Mod.cntrl.sleeve 5R55W [2] Sleeve Spring Valve End Plug O-Rings (2) 1 Extra Wear-resistant sleeve provides additional support to the control valve Valve is hardcoat anodized to reduce wear and has more sealing contact with the bore than OE to minimize leakage. O-ringed end plug provides positive seal to the bore once valve/sleeve assembly is installed. Spring maintains OE operating pressures. Symptoms: Flare shifts Low line pressure Pressure control out-of-range codes Cause: Bore wear at the VFS1 (PCA) and VFS2 (PCB) locations allows modulated line pressure to exhaust instead of feeding the overdrive, intermediate or low/reverse servos or the coast clutch. Fluid pressure loss at these apply components results in low line pressure, shift complaints and burnt clutches and bands. Correction: This Sonnax kit allows wear to be eliminated, future wear to be prevented and correct hydraulic pressures to be restored to critical apply components.
