Snap RingPart No. MB-SR-3 Sonnax offers .116" thick, retaining ring MB-SR-3 as an option for setting the correct clutch release clearance in Mercedes 722.6 (272mm and 290mm) converters. Typically, this clearance should be .008"–.010" per friction plate, and larger or smaller clearances can cause problems. Additional options for setting clutch release thickness are Sonnax .104" thick retaining ring MB-SR-2and the OE .089" thick retaining ring.
