Wear is commonly found at different areas in the ZF6HP19/26/32 (Gen. 1) and Ford 6R60, 6R80 pressure regulator bores. When the sleeve is worn, line pressure balance fluid will leak to exhaust, causing high or inconsistent pressure. When wear is limited to the sleeve, the Sonnax direct replacement pressure regulator sleeve 95740-03 will restore valve-to-sleeve clearances so the pressure regulator valve can maintain correct pressures. If the remainder of the pressure regulator bore is worn, consider Sonnax oversized pressure regulator valve kit 95740-01K. • No machining required • Alloy aluminum sleeve is significantly more wear-resistant than the OE sleeve Symptoms: • Broken parts due to excessive line pressure • Erratic line pressure • High line pressure • Restricted converter/lube flow Cause: Excessive valve and bore clearance allows critical line pressure balance fluid to cross leak to exhaust, causing high or erratic line pressure. Correction: The Sonnax direct replacement pressure regulator sleeve addresses sleeve wear and circuit integrity of line pressure balance in the pressure regulator circuit. NOTE: Kit is NOT compatible with ZF6HP19/26/32 (Gen.1) units with an 053 separator plate code or ZF6HP21/28/34 (Gen.2) units.
