Bushing E4OD/C6 late standard [4] Package Quantity: 4 Case, One-Piece, Late, One Groove to Back Width: 1.620" Housing Bore: 1.593" Shaft Dia.: 1.470" Material: Steel-backed bimetal Bushing Style: Precision The OE rear case bushings in the Ford E4OD and 4R100 & C6 transmissions tend to wear out prematurely. Bushing failure may be due to lack of lubrication, excessive journal clearance, or too much load for a given bearing area. Replace the two OE bushings with Sonnax replacement bushing 36008B or 36008D using the Sonnax installation tool T36008A to draw the replacement bushing into place. Available for both 3-groove early design style and 4-groove late model designs. Both one-piece replacement bushings are an improvement over the OE two-bushing design because of their increased bearing surface area and superior lubrication characteristics. NOTE: On some C6 applications there may be a ridge of unmachined material which separate the two OE bushings. This area must be honed down to allow installation Required tool:T36008A
